This route passes through the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions
Kampala → Kabale → Kanungu → Buhoma (5–6 hours from Kabale)
Kampala → Ntungamo → Rukungiri → Kihihi → Buhoma (~5 hours from Kabale region)
