By Road

• Kampala → Queen Elizabeth National Park (Mweya) → Ishasha → Kihihi → Buhoma

  • This route passes through the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions

• Kampala → Kabale → Kanungu → Buhoma (5–6 hours from Kabale)

• Kampala → Ntungamo → Rukungiri → Kihihi → Buhoma (~5 hours from Kabale region)

• Kabale → Ruhija → Buhoma (5–6 hours)

• Kampala → Kabale → Nkuringo (6–7 hours)

By Air

Travelers can take domestic flights from:

• Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airfield
