Day 1 – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your BH Rafiki Tours guide will pick you up early in the morning at 7:00 AM from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Begin your scenic journey southwest, with a stop at the Equator for photography and a fun water experiment. Enjoy lunch in Mbarara, Uganda's cultural capital, before continuing through rolling hills and terraced landscapes to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Arrive in the evening, check in at Rushaga Gorilla Camp, and enjoy a delicious dinner while soaking in the tranquility of the forest.

Meals & Drinks: All meals included; water provided during travel


Day 2 – Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority guides. Embark on a thrilling trek into Bwindi’s dense rainforest, navigating steep slopes and lush foliage in search of mountain gorillas.

Once you locate a gorilla family, spend an hour observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat—an awe-inspiring experience you’ll cherish for a lifetime. Learn about their social behavior, interactions, and conservation efforts.

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, delve into the fascinating Batwa cultural experience. Learn about their traditional way of life, forest survival skills, and cultural practices through storytelling, dance, and song.

Day 3 – Optional Visit to Lake Bunyonyi & Return to Kampala

After breakfast, you may choose to visit nearby Lake Bunyonyi, a stunning destination known for its 29 islands and abundant birdlife. Take a short guided boat ride (time permitting) to soak in the serene views and capture memorable photographs.

Begin your journey back to Kampala, stopping at the Equator for souvenir shopping and more photos. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way and arrive in Kampala or Entebbe in the evening, concluding your unforgettable adventure.
